TOEFL 考试一、考试简介TOEFL(Test of English as a ForeignLanguage)由美国教育考试服务中心(ETS,Educational Testing Service)在全世界举办,是一种专门针对母语为非英语的人进行英语水平考试。一般国内依照其发音,音译为“托福”。TOEFL 之所以非常有名,是因为如果你要到美国、加拿大等发达国家留学,必须提供这项考试的成绩。而且这些大学一般都规定了申请者的最低TOEFL 录取分数线。总的来说,美国各种大学(学院)对申请人 TOEFL 成绩的最低要求一般而言如下社区学院(二年制大学)——500;四年制大学——550;较好的研究生院——600。二、考试内容TOEFL 考试时间为110分钟:分为听力理解测试(Listening Comprehension)、语法和结构测试(Structure & Written Expression)、阅读理解测试(Reading Comprehension)。
