如果把人体比作一个化工联合企业,肝脏便是其中最重要的化工厂。肝脏肩负着许多重要的生理功能,其中“解毒”功能更是无可替代。有实验表明,将一定量的尼古丁、咖啡因直接注入动物冠状动脉,几分钟后动物便死亡,如果将这些毒物注入肝血管,动物仍可存活,是肝脏将这些毒物“解除了武装”。可以说如果没有肝脏,人类将不可能生活在这个充满毒物的世界上。肝脏的地位如此重要,所以才有“心肝宝贝”、“肝脑涂地”的说法。
