山茶生长缓慢,邮寄的一二年生小苗,在北方往往需要精心管理2—3年,才能看到少量花。若改为大株邮寄,则可缩短待花期,及早观花。3年来,我共收到花友寄来的4—7年生大株山茶42株,29个品种(均11月寄来,有的已带花蕾),途中少则12天,多则17天。经我栽培后,不仅都成活了,而且大部分当年见花,缩短了北方养茶的管理周期。我的方法是:
Camellia grows slowly, and the biennial seedlings that are mailed often require careful management in the north for 2-3 years to see a small amount of flowers. If you change to large strain mailing, you can shorten the flowering period, early flower viewing. In the past 3 years, I received 42 strains of 4 ~ 7-year-old big-headed camellia sent by florists, 29 varieties (all sent in November and some with flower buds), with as many as 12 days on the way and as many as 17 days.
