利用热辐射(TD)处理方法在Cr12MoV冷作模具钢表面制备了碳化钒(VC)涂层,通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、EDS分析了对涂层显微组织与结合界面V和C元素的分布,研究了VC涂层结合界冶金结合方式;用显微硬度计和划痕仪测得其表面显微硬度和结合强度,并对VC涂层在Cr12MoV冷作模具钢表面形成的微观机理进行了分析.结果表明:涂层组织为单一相VC,均匀致密,其显微硬度为3 050 HV;VC涂层的形成是V原子和C原子通过热辐射反应的结果,其与基体结合方式为冶金结合,划痕法测得其结合强度为47.1 N,有利于提高冷作模具使用寿命.
The vanadium carbide (VCV) coating was prepared on Cr12MoV cold-working die steel by thermal radiation (TD) method. The microstructure of coating and microstructure of interface V and C were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and EDS The micro-hardness and bonding strength of VC coating were measured by micro-hardness tester and scratch tester. The microscopic mechanism of VC coating on the surface of cold-working die steel Cr12MoV was studied The results show that the microstructure of the coating is single-phase VC, uniform and compact with a microhardness of 3 050 HV. The formation of VC coating is the result of thermal radiation of V atom and C atom, Metallurgical bonding, scratch test measured the bonding strength of 47.1 N, help to improve the service life of cold-working die.
