江泽民同志在党的十六大报告中指出,“三个代表”重要思想是对马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平理论的继承和发展,反映了当代世界和中国的发展变化对党和国家工作的新要求,是加强和改进党的建设,推进我国社会主义自我完善发展的强大理论武器,是全党集体智慧的结晶,是党必须长期坚持的指导思想。认真学习江泽民同志的重要论述,联系当前实际贯彻“三个代表”重要思想,笔者在此对“三个代表”重要思想的科学内涵和哲学基础作一点探讨。
Comrade Jiang Zemin pointed out in the report to the 16th National Congress of the CPC that the important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ is the inheritance and development of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory and reflects the development and changes of the contemporary world and China’s development and changes to the party and state. The new requirements of our work are powerful theoretical weapons for strengthening and improving party building and promoting the self-improvement and development of socialism in our country. They are the result of the collective wisdom of the entire party and the guiding ideology that the party must uphold for a long period of time. Conscientiously study Comrade Jiang Zemin’s important expositions and contact with the current actual implementation of the important thinking of the ’Three Represents.’ I will make a brief discussion on the scientific connotation and philosophical foundation of the important thinking on ’Three Represents.’
