针对徐伟康商榷文章提出的质疑,本文就《消费者价格指数与生产者价格指数:谁带动谁?》所涉及的计量工作进行了一定的改进和新的检验,并得出了与原文基本一致的结论:在所考察时期(2001年1月—2008年6月)内,中国消费价格指数变动领先于生产者价格指数变动。本文认为,消费价格指数与其构成部分之间“天然地”存在协整关系,并是一个反映最终消费需求的重要指标;生产者价格指数则还反映中间环节需求和供给层面因素;两者之间的关系可应用到宏观经济分析中的需求与供给问题上。
In response to the question put forward by Xu Weikang, this article makes some improvements and new tests on the measurement work involved in “Consumer Price Index and Producer Price Index: Who Drives?” And draws a conclusion that is consistent with the original CONCLUSIONS: During the period under review (January 2001-June 2008), the change in China’s consumer price index preceded the change in the producer price index. This paper argues that there is cointegration relationship between the CPI and its components, and is an important indicator of the final consumption demand. The PPI also reflects the demand and supply aspects of the intermediate links. Both The relationship between the macroeconomic analysis can be applied to the demand and supply issues.
