At present, more than 200 million people in the world have osteoporosis, and its incidence has risen to No. 6 in common and frequently-occurring diseases. About 80% of China’s elderly population over the age of 60 have different degrees of osteoporosis. It is estimated that in 2010 it will reach 110 million and in 2050 it will exceed 200 million.
