图书馆是知识的收集与传播的机构,是对人类在社会大生产过程中所产生的知识与技术进行梳理整合的场所,随着知识经济时代的到来,图书馆面临着新的责任与挑战。当今网络环境下,图书馆工作主要围绕如何更好地开展为读者服务中心的工作来展开,充分利用信息技术,自身资源的优势,充分发挥和体现自身价值作用。
Library is the gathering and dissemination of knowledge. It is a place for combing and integrating the knowledge and technology produced by human beings in the process of social production. With the advent of knowledge economy, libraries are facing new responsibilities and challenges. In today’s network environment, the library work mainly focuses on how to better carry out work for readers’ service centers, make full use of the advantages of information technology and its own resources and give full play to and exert its own value.
