福繁16、福繁17是福建省农科院稻麦研究所以品系 B 5(白)作母本、晋麦2148为父本进行有性杂交,于1976年育成的2个姐妹系品种。福繁16、福繁17于1979—1982年参加我省和华南三省(区)小麦品种联合区域试验,比对照种晋麦2148明显增产,居各参试品种首位。揭西县已引种6年,一般亩产200—250公斤。1989年和1990年2000亩以上丰产片平均亩产325—335公斤,高产田达401公斤,是适于我省冬种的高产小麦良种。(一)特征特性福繁16、福繁17幼苗生长近直立,苗叶深绿色,株高100厘米左右,福繁16比福繁17矮3—5厘米。茎杆粗壮,株型较紧凑,主茎着生叶片9—10片,剑叶较宽,长24—25厘米,叶色浓绿。穗长8—9厘米,长芒,小穗着生密度中等。每穗小穗数17—19个,其中不育小穗2— Fufan 16 and Fufan 17 are two sister lines bred in 1976 by the Institute of Rice and Wheat Science and Technology of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences with B 5 (white) as female parent and Jinmai 2148 as male parent.
