在群英荟萃的上海服装行业,我厂是个最年轻的企业。从1981年由华侨集资筹建以来,借城市经济改革的东风,从纯加工企业发展成一家年产西装2万套、总产值达到200万元的集体企业。我们这家小厂之所以步子越迈越大,根本原因,是较好地解决了以下几个方面的问题。第一,靠用才、育才,小木棚拴住了青年的心。我们厂有两个特点:一个是小木棚当厂房,设在一个私人花园的墙角边,工作条件差;另一个特点是侨眷子女多,生活水平较高。这些青年眼界开阔,走有退路。1984年5月,我自荐当厂长时,人心浮动,打扑克、睡觉、看书、蹓出去烫头发的,什么都有。有4个青工甚至打了辞职报告。我宣布了两项措施:第一,由我组阁,选了两名有威信的青年生产能手做副厂长。对受过处分的职工,只要出色完成任务,可以撤销处分。第二,改革奖金分配制度,奖勤罚懒。
In the elite Shanghai fashion industry, our factory is the youngest company. Since the establishment of overseas Chinese fund-raising in 1981, it has developed from a purely processed enterprise into a collective enterprise with an annual output of 20,000 sets of suits and a total output value of 2 million yuan. The reason why our small factory is getting bigger and bigger, the fundamental reason is to solve the following problems. First, by relying on talents, educating talents, and small wooden sheds, the young people’s hearts were taken care of. Our factory has two characteristics: one is a small wooden shed as a factory building, located in the corner of a private garden, with poor working conditions; the other is characterized by a large number of children and a higher standard of living. These young people’s vision is open and they have a way out. In May 1984, when I volunteered to be the factory manager, I was very busy. I played poker, went to bed, read books, and smashed my hair. Everything was there. There were even four young workers who even resigned. I announced two measures: First, by my cabinet, I selected two prestigious youth production specialists as deputy director. Employees who have been penalized can be punished as long as they complete the task well. Second, reform of the bonus distribution system, rewards and diligence.
