党的十六大是我们党带领全国各族人民跨进新世纪,进入全面建设小康社会,加快推进社会主义现代化新的发展阶段召开的极为重要的会议。根据《中共中央关于党的十六大代表选举工作的通知》 (中委〔2001〕350号)和中央国家机关工委关于选举十六大代表的《通知》 (国工发〔2001〕1号)要求,中科院制定了选举十六大代表 The 16th CPC National Congress is an extremely important meeting for our party to lead the people of all ethnic groups in the country into a new century and into the new stage of development in building an overall well-to-do society and speeding up socialist modernization. According to the Circular of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Election of Representatives of the 16th National Congress of the CPC (CBRC [2001] No.350) and the Circular of the Work Committee of the Central Government on Election of the 16th National Congress of the CPC (CBG [2001] No.1 ) Requirements, the Chinese Academy of Sciences formulated the election of the 16th National Congress
