The two climbers, both starting from the north and south of Everest and planning to shake hands at the summit, have already begun their actions today. October 8, 1983, from Nepal side, climbed along the southwestern wall and then turned to the southeast ridge of Japan “mountain learn gg” mountaineering team, on the southeast ridge at a height of 8100 meters and always along the southeast ridge of Japan “Snowman” climbers meet. This is the first time in the history of mountaineering. After the two teams joined together, they continued to climb to the top. At a height of 8510 meters above sea level on the southeast ridge, they met American climbers climbing over the east steep walls along the ice-edge and frequent avalanches that overcame numerous obstacles. A total of eight members of the three teams boarded the world’s highest peak. This is another major breakthrough in world mountaineering in the 1980s.
