古琴在数千年的历史进程中的造型式样有数十种之多,广泛采用者亦不下10种。历代先贤不遗余力,不断改进,目的均是使古琴尽可能完美。爱美之心人皆有之。不唯追求外形之美,还要追求内蕴之美,二者谐和而统一。时代在前进,物质文明在发展,人们的审美情趣也会随之发生变化,会有新的追求。古人追求方正对称刚劲之美,今人则在此基础上追求开放流畅之美。人体是最为纯真的美。古美人瓶的造型即属人类通过对美的锤炼,而推出的一种高于现实的线条流畅匀称的象征性、概括性美的造型。故此我在几年前改良古琴时选择了“古
