固体颗粒介质板材成形是采用固体颗粒介质代替刚性凸模(或弹性体、液体)的作用对板材进行软模成形的工艺,由于固体颗粒介质具有很强的耐热性能,特别适用于钛合金薄壁零件的成形。针对TC1钛合金机头罩的零件特点,采用该工艺方法设计一套胀形模具,并通过胀形实验成功制造出符合设计要求的机头罩零件。结果表明,固体颗粒介质成形可解决复杂型面、薄壁、筒状钛合金零件难成形的问题,成形零件精度高,且表面质量好。
