一、拓展课的目标长期以来,高中英语教学一直以学科课程为主,注重书本知识的学习,因而在学生知识结构的完善、能力的训练、兴趣爱好的发展及个体特长的培养等方面就有所欠缺,妨碍了学生的全面发展。鉴于这种情况,我将“把知识转变为初步进行交际的能力”作为拓展课的目标之一。英语教学大纲的提出,在进行听、说、读、写综合训练的过程中要侧重培养学生的阅读能力。认识论认为,在外语阅读过程中背景知识和语言只是起着同等重要的作用,有时甚至大于语言知识的作用。因此,我拓展课的目标之二就是增加所学语言知识的文化背景和社会知识的了解,增强学生的阅读能力。英语教学常有这样的弊病,即教学观念陈旧,课堂教学以灌输——接受型模式为主,由此产生学生认识能力、自学能力低下的不良后果。要改变这种现状,就必须改
