Biochemical induction analysis (BlA) method was used to preliminarily screen the potential anti-tumor active substances in the fermentation broth of marine microorganisms. Sixteen strains of 655 strains of marine microorganisms were screened for potential anti-tumor compounds. The positive rate was approximately 2.4%. The fermentation broth of N350 strain with strong induction activity was detected by MTT assay and it was found to have a strong inhibitory effect on the growth of P388 and KB tumor cells. This indicates that marine microorganisms can produce antitumor active substances targeting DNA. It is expected to screen out anticancer drugs with clinical application prospects.
