1987年我国共有148个自治地方,包括5个自治区、30个自治州和113个自治县(旗)。自治地方总人口1 4246.65万人,其中少数民族人口6252。58万人,占自治地方总人口的43.9%。自治地方总面积611.77万平方公里,占全国总面积的63.7%。1987年民族自治地方工农业总产值完成970.18亿元(按1980年不变价格计算,下同),扣除自治地方区域变动因素和价格变动因素,比1986年增长10.4%,1981年至1987年平均每年增长9.7%。
In 1987, there were 148 autonomous areas in our country, including 5 autonomous regions, 30 autonomous prefectures and 113 autonomous counties. The total population of the autonomous areas amounts to 42,466,500, of which ethnic minority population is 62,525,800, accounting for 43.9% of the total population in the autonomous areas. The total area of autonomous areas is 6,117,700 square kilometers, accounting for 63.7% of the total area in China. In 1987, the gross output value of industry and agriculture in ethnic autonomous areas was 97.07 billion yuan (calculated at constant prices in 1980, the same below), less the changes in area and price of the autonomous areas, an increase of 10.4% over 1986 and from 1981 to 1987 9.7% increase each year.
