根据铁道部第四次铁路大提速的要求和上海铁路局2001年3月2日召开的京九线提速会议精神,京九线将全面提速至140~160km/h,这样京九线K821+500~K822+200段的既有半径986m的上、下行曲线不能满足要求,必须对其进行改造,使之能满足新的提速要求。由于工期紧,只有短短的三个月时间,而改造后的下行线则基本上为新铺线路。如何确保新路基及轨道的稳定,使之能满足速度达到140km/h列车的运行条件是我们面临的新课题。
