In-depth investigation of elite female high jumpers in 40 years shows that the first and second-generation athletes’ high jumpers improve continuously with their years of training and their ages, while the highest scores show their best age. However, the average training time, means and load of the third generation athletes were shorter on average, the retirement age was earlier, the training time, means and load were significantly reduced than those of the older generation. The development of the physical quality was not comprehensive and the basic skills were not solid, which seriously affected the further improvement of the sports level. At the same time, it is found that the trend of the female high jumpers out of their performance shows that the double peak coincides with the law of the outstanding female high jumpers in the world, which accords with the law of human physiological development and the law of sports training.
