社会团体和中介组织是今后在中国社会中发挥重要作用的三大组织之一。最近,我们对达州市科协所属学会进行了一次专门调研,深深感到学会在社会主义市场经济中的重要作用,开发西部需要科技学会发挥更大的作用,但工作中面临的困难和问题也不容忽视。一、主要成绩近几年,为统率、指导、规范学会、协会工作,达州市科协开展了创“学会之星”活动,学会工作呈现良好的发展态势。据不完全统计,截止2001年,全市有4个学会受到省(部)级单位的表彰,15个学会受到市(厅)级单位的表彰。同时,对全市科技、经济、社会事业发展起到了积极的推动作用。
