1月24日,在北京南站改建工程工地上进行的“2008年农民工平安返乡欢送仪式”上,中华全国总工会副主席、书记处书记徐振寰指出,春节农民工平安返乡专列的推出,就是各级党委、政府和工会组织贯彻落实党的十七大精神,帮助解决农民工最关心、最现实、最直接利益问题的具体措施。希望农民工兄弟把工会当做自己的娘家,各级工会组织也将一如既往地与各级党委、政府有关部门一道,努力为农民工排忧解难,共同做好农民工权益维护工作,为农民工兄弟在城市工作、生活提供一个良好的环境。
