公共图书馆功能是其日常活动的核心内容。图书馆资源的相对稀缺性决定了每个图书馆都应根据自身的资源及优势和当地需求合理系统地设计自己的功能,以便利用有限的资源产生出最大的效益。在比较全面地分析当前我国省级公共图书馆功能现状的基础上,结合我国实际和世界公共图书馆发展趋势,探讨了我国省级公共图书馆应具有的功能。
Public library functions are at the core of its daily activities. The relative scarcity of library resources determines that each library should design its own function in a systematic and reasonable manner according to its own resources and advantages and local needs in order to utilize the limited resources to produce the maximum benefits. Based on a comparatively comprehensive analysis of the status quo of the current state-level public libraries in our country and the actual development in our country and the development trend of the world public libraries, the functions of the provincial public libraries in our country are discussed.
