通过对PLoS办刊理念的介绍,及PLoS Biology在编委组成、栏目设置、载文量、影响因子、论文发表时滞、参考文献量和引文数量、引用半衰期等的分析,力图发现PLoS Biology如何在短短5年多的时间里成为世界生物学领域最优秀期刊之一的原因;同时,针对《中国科学·C辑:生命科学》的现状,试图找出其存在的主要问题,及其与PLoS Biology的差距,提出《中国科学·C辑:生命科学》如何加快国际化的几点初步建议,以期对国内生命科学领域的期刊发展和国际化能有所启示。
Through the introduction of the philosophy of PLoS, and the PLoS Biology’s composition in the editorial board, column setting, quantity of articles, impact factors, publication time lag, number of references and quotations, reference half-life analysis, trying to find out how PLoS Biology In just five years, it has become one of the best journals in the field of biology in the world. At the same time, in the light of the current situation of Science of China, Series C, Life Science, it tries to find out the main problems of its existence, PLoS Biology, and put forward some preliminary suggestions on how to speed up internationalization of “Science in China, Series C: Life Science” with a view to enlightening the development and internationalization of journals in the field of domestic life sciences.
