楼之岑教授是在国内外享有盛誉的著名生药学家,是我国现代生药学的开拓者之一。现任北京医学院药学系生药教研室主任、院学术委员会委员,卫生部医学科学委员会委员,中国药典委员会委员,中国药学会常务理事兼秘书长、中药和天然药物学会主任委员,《药学通报》主编,《药学学报》副主编,中药通报顾问,北京市医药总公司顾问,卫生部药品生物制品检定所顾问,世界卫生组织药品质量保证合作中心顾问等职。曾任北京医学院药学系副主任。楼之岑教授1920年生于浙江安吉县孝丰镇北村。少年时喜爱读书。中学时期适逢抗日战争年代,帝国主义的入侵,民族的危机,更加激起他爱国求学之心。他历尽艰辛,从浙江徒步到贵州安顺县,就读于军医学校大学部药科。1942年,以优异的成绩毕业并留校任教,讲授制药化学、有机化学等课程。1945年,考取公费奖学金留英研究生。他怀着科学救国的心情,远离祖国,入英国伦敦大学药学院攻读。1947年获药学士学位,后专攻生药学。1948年任该院生药学研究助
Prof. Lou Cen is a famous pharmacist renowned both at home and abroad and is one of pioneers of modern Chinese pharmacy. Incumbent Beijing Medical College Department of Pharmacognosy director, academic committee, the Ministry of Health Medical Science Committee, the Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission, Chinese Pharmaceutical Association executive director and secretary general, chairman of the Institute of Chinese medicine and natural medicine, “Pharmaceutical Bulletin” editor, Associate Editor of Chinese Journal of Pharmacy, Consultant of Chinese Medicine Bulletin, Consultant of Beijing Medical Corporation, Consultant of the Institute of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products of the Ministry of Health and Consultant of the Cooperative Center for Quality Assurance of Medicines of the World Health Organization. Former Beijing Medical College Department of Pharmacy, deputy director. Prof. Lou Cen was born in 1920 in Beicun Village, Xiaofeng Town, Anji County, Zhejiang Province. Teenager love reading. The high school coincided with the anti-Japanese war era, the invasion of imperialism and the crisis of the nation, arousing his patriotic heart of learning. He went through hardships, trekking from Zhejiang to Anshun County, Guizhou Province, where he studied at the pharmacy department of the Military Medical University. In 1942, graduated with honors and stayed in school to teach pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry and other courses. In 1945, admitted to the public scholarships to study in England. With scientific feelings of salvation, he left the motherland and studied at the College of Pharmacy, University of London, England. Bachelor of medicine in 1947, after specializing in pharmacology.
