全国第四届大学生运动会,已正式确定会徽和吉祥物。会徽(见图1)设计以四条动态跑道线构成“4”字,内形“D”为“大”字汉语拼音第一个字母,加上图形中“92”二字和底部黄鹤图形,表明第四届大学生运动会1992年在武汉举行。组成跑道的四条动态线与黄鹤、风帆图形,象征着大学生运动健儿飞跃、轻捷、拼搏奋进的精神面貌。整个会徽标志,构思巧妙,造型新颖,简洁醒目,显示了大学生运动会的特征和时代气息。吉祥物(见图2)设计取材于中国科学院水生生物研究所唯一由人工饲养的一只白鳍豚。白鳍豚为我国一类保护动物,寓意当代大学生为祖国的宝贵人才。白鳍豚饲养于武汉,又表明本届大学生运动会在武汉举行。白鳍豚体呈流线型,
The Fourth National University Games, has officially identified the emblem and mascot. The emblem (see Figure 1) is designed with four dynamic runway lines to form a “4” character. The inner shape “D” is the first letter of the “big” Chinese pinyin, together with the “92” Show that the Fourth Universiade was held in Wuhan in 1992. The four dynamic lines that make up the runway together with the Yellow Crane and the Sailing Graphics symbolize the mental outlook of college athletes who are leapfrogged, agile and hardworking. The whole emblem logo, ingenious design, novel style, simple and eye-catching, shows the characteristics of college games and the atmosphere of the times. The mascot (see Figure 2) is designed from the only white dolphin that is artificially raised by the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
