本文叙述为某空军扩频系统所研制的小型频率合成器。TRW公司的样机(参考文1)覆盖1280—1535兆赫范围,步距为整兆赫,跳速约为25毫微秒。因为获得所有输出频率的方法,是将两个单一的钟频参考输入进行多次混频,所以输出频率的长期稳定度与钟频的稳定度一样好。整个结构是累接式合成器结构,有四个相同的分频和混频级。在每一级中的1×4转换开关可用来选择要混频的外加频率。使用大规模集成电路,从而达到了体积小、成本低。
This article describes a small frequency synthesizer developed by a certain Air Force spread spectrum system. The TRW prototype (Reference # 1) covers the 1280-1535 MHz range with full megahertz steps at approximately 25 ns jumpers. Because all the output frequencies are obtained by mixing two single clock reference inputs multiple times, the long-term stability of the output frequency is as good as the clock stability. The entire structure is a rollover synthesizer structure with four identical divider and mixer stages. The 1 × 4 switch in each stage can be used to select the additional frequency to be mixed. The use of large-scale integrated circuits, so as to achieve a small size, low cost.
