“俗文学”研究是20世纪中国文学研究中的“显学”,一个世纪以来,取得了丰硕的成果,但自身显示的弊端也非常明显。其中最为突出的是“俗文学”学科性质的模糊,以及由此带来的研究对象、研究方式等的含混不清,这严重制约了俗文学研究的进展。本文在深入梳理20世纪中国俗文学研究的基础上对“俗文学”的概念、特质、研究方法等问题作出阐释,以期对中国俗文学研究的进一步开展有所裨益。 The study of “vulgar literature” is a “significant learning” in the study of Chinese literature in the 20th century. Since the achievements of a century, great achievements have been made, but its own drawbacks are also obvious. One of the most prominent is the vague nature of the “vulgar literature” discipline, as well as the ambiguity of the research objects, research methods, which seriously hampered the progress of popular literature research. On the basis of thoroughly combing the research of Chinese popular literature in the 20th century, this essay expounds the concept, characteristics and research methods of “vulgar literature” with a view to furthering the study of Chinese popular literature.
