党的十一届三中全会以来,大理州立足于本地实际,坚持改革开放,通过不断的探索和总结,全州社会经济初步走向了健康发展的轨道. 然而应该看到,最近几年大理州经济发展的速度明显放慢,邻近一些地州相继崛起,对我州的发展形成了极大的挑战.特别是随着国家和省投资重点的转移,滇西开发战略的实施,一方面是对我州经济发展的一个较好机遇,另一方面也对我们提出新的迫切要求.九十年代,大理州的经济发展究竟采取何种对策,这是我们需要认真思考并付诸实践的一个重要问题.
