为了提高广大农民群从的科学技术水平,垫江县科协与县教育局密切配合,于1980年试办了多农业技术学校,到1983年冬天在全县43个乡、大部分村开办了农业技术学校。据统计,从1981—1987年共举办专业技术短期培训班821期,培训青壮年农民54389人。全县7年来已有105000多人受过各种技术培训,占农业人口的14.4％。为农村造就了一批“永久牌”的农民技术骨干,帮助回乡知识青年和农民掌握了一两项致富技术,他们在振兴我县农村经济中发挥了重要作用,有力地促进了农村“两个文明”建设。在农民技术教育中,我们还积极协助各地重
