为了能够实现中西方文化资源共享,将一些西方的科学文化知识和中国的思想观念、文学作品进行交流和沟通,需要英语翻译的存在,英语翻译是非常重要的,没有英语翻译就没有文化的沟通和交流,也就不能促进社会的进步。我们都知道,任何一种语言的生存发展都离不开其赖以生存的社会环境,社会环境就是孕育语言的土壤,我们在进行英语翻译的时候,也要注意文化差异。本文旨在研究中西方宗教信仰、饮食文化、历史文化、风俗习惯、日常谈话、思维方式和价值取向等方面的差异,并且探究这些差异对英语翻译的影响。
In order to achieve the sharing of Chinese and Western cultural resources, the exchange and communication of some Western scientific and cultural knowledge with Chinese ideological concepts and literary works require the existence of English translation.
