China Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering Society of Rock Dynamics in 1987 October at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics held a General Assembly, the meeting by the Rock Dynamics Committee vice chairman Wang Chengshu presided over and delivered an opening speech, chairman Wang Wulin, senior engineer made a report to the General Assembly on the preparatory work of the Rock Dynamics Committee. The congress received a letter of congratulation from Prof. Chen Zongji, chairman of China Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering and chairman of the Society; the Committee of Geotechnical Mechanics of China Society of Mechanics, the Committee of High Temperature and High Pressure of China Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the Committee of Underground Rock Engineering,
