在郑成功“驱荷复台”前,其与荷兰东印度公司已在东亚海域竞争达十余年之久。魍港是台湾西部早期的重要港口。魍港税权的争夺,乃是郑成功与荷兰人之间争夺东亚海域权力的开始。郑成功派人在魍港征税,是南明政权在魍港行使权力的表现;郑成功与荷兰对于东亚海洋权力的竞争,乃是其“驱荷复台”原因之一。
In Zheng Chenggong “Drive Dutch complex ” before, with the Dutch East India Company has been in the East Asian waters competition for more than 10 years.
