2011年4月12日,清代台湾首任巡抚刘铭传遗骨安葬仪式在合肥市肥西县大潜山刘铭传墓园举行。墓园由肥西县人民政府、史学专家和刘氏后人精心选择,按照清朝一品官员墓葬规格建立,占地3.34公顷,投资2000万元。因为各种原因曾迁移六次的刘铭传遗骨,终于入土为安。4月20日,由安徽省赠送的刘铭传铜像在台湾铭传大学揭幕,安徽省省长王三运、国民党荣誉主席吴伯雄、铭传大学校长李铨为铜像揭幕。
April 12, 2011, Qing Dynasty Taiwan’s first governor Liu Ming Chuan bones buried in Hefei Feixi Liu buried hill cemetery was held. Cemetery by the Feixi County People’s Government, historian experts and Liu descendants carefully selected, according to the Qing Dynasty Yipin officials burial specifications established, an area of 3.34 hectares, an investment of 20 million yuan. Because of various reasons, Liu Mingzhuan had been relocated six times, and finally settled in peace. On April 20, a bronze statue of Liu Mingchuan presented by Anhui Province was unveiled at Ming Chuan University in Taiwan. Wang Sanyun, governor of Anhui Province, Wu Boxiong, honorary chairman of the Kuomintang, and Li Quan, president of Ming Chuan University, unveiled the bronze statue.
