当今通信领域中,移动通信是最具生机的部分,3G的发展进程更将直接影响中国乃至世界电信业发展格局。不久的将来,中国通信业也必将迎来一个3G时代。面对3G时代的到来,我们不但关心3G发展政策,更关心进入3G时代的技术、产品及业务应用。经报信息产业部批准,《通信世界》自本期始开设“3G专栏”,从发展政策、产业经济、知识产权、全球3G发展、商业及业务模式、应用开发、测试、芯片、终端各个方面探讨3G的发展,为业内专家、运营商、制造商提供一个交流平台,以对中国3G发展起到推动作用。我们还将先后邀请C3G研究开发项目总体组组长尤肖虎教授及北邮经济管理学院院长吕廷杰担任主持人,分析点评各家观点。本期专栏以3G标准、业务、技术、产品方面的权威发言人的讲演为开篇,希望使大家对3G技术的成熟性有一个总体了解。
