肃南塔洞沟蛇绿岩位于肃南以西塔洞沟—石居里沟一带，属北祁连加里东优地槽褶皱带的组成部分，其地层层位为下奥陶统阴沟群上部火山岩组。据１∶５万区调资料，认为该区具有层序型蛇绿岩组合的特点，并且完全可与ＥＭ穆尔斯含义扩大了的蛇绿岩组合相对比。其形成环境为消减带之上的小洋盆，属特提斯型，在早奥陶世末期发生构造侵位，即由最初的俯冲转化为最终的碰撞缝合带
The Sunan Tadongogou ophiolite is located in the Tadonggou-Shijuriegou of the west of Sunan and is a component of the Gailongdonggouxian fold belt in the North Qilian. Its stratigraphic horizon is the Upper Volcanic Group of the Lower Ordovician Crosstalk Group . According to the data of 1: 50000, it is considered that this area has the characteristics of the layered ophiolite assemblage and can be completely compared with the ophiolite assemblage with the expansion of EM Moores. The formation of a small oceanic environment above the abatement zone belongs to the Tethyan type and resulted in tectonic emplacement at the end of the Early Ordovician from the initial subduction to the final collision suture
