The Wuhan railway terminal projects that are under construction and proposed are in their varieties of numbers with mutual constraints,cross influence and complex coordination with each other The construction has great interference to the train operations of the existing lines.The paper puts forward the principles and measures for the construction management based on the analyses on the necessity of the overall construction management of Wuhan railway terminal projects and proposes the general ideas and construction measures for the construction projects of the Wuhan North Marshalling Station,the lead-in of Hefei-Wuhan Railway to the Terminal,Tianxingzhou Bridge,Goods Train Passing-around Line,New Wuhan Railway Station,Fuxingwan Dispatching and Decoupling Area and reconstruction of Hankou Railway Station.All these projects should be arranged according to the overall plan and in combination with the target of construction period to identify the dominance of the project,make use of the capacity of the existing terminal and take the transitional measures for provisional operation as the support and for the overall arrangement in advance so as to minimize the interference between train operation and construction and to guarantee a rational construction of all the projects in good order.
