Preoperative positioning of cryptorchidism in children is very helpful in surgical exploration, which can reduce the time required for a comprehensive exploration and facilitate the planning of the correct surgical procedures. In this paper, 23 cases of clinical diagnosis of cryptorchidism and ultrasound can not be sure for patients with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to identify cryptorchidism. 16 cases of cryptorchidism in the peritoneal cavity was correctly located; in 4 cases, the testicular parenchyma-like structure was not observed.
