I. Introduction With the rapid development of gas turbines, many high-temperature alloys have been created at home and abroad. In typical nickel-base and cobalt-based superalloys used in gas turbines, a trace amount of boron (0.01-0.02% B), zirconium, is generally added to clean the grain boundaries, improve high-temperature properties and increase high-temperature rupture strength. It is generally believed that boron plays a role of strengthening grain boundaries in the casting of superalloys. Baldwin, a B-1900 alloy producer at Sorcery Metals Company in the United States, has been studying for several years since 1968
