海上多分量地震自从1996年秋在北海半商业性地出现以来已经得到地球物理工业界的青睐。这种技术实质上就是在海底用包括水听器和三分量检波器的传感器组,在记录常规的P波之外再记录S波。新的处理算法已经被开发用于有效地处理这些资料。
The marine multi-component earthquake has been favored by the geophysical industry since the commercial appearance of the semi-commercial North Sea in the fall of 1996. This technique is essentially a group of sensors including a hydrophone and a three-component detector on the seafloor, recording an additional S wave beyond the regular P wave. New processing algorithms have been developed to efficiently process these data.
