浙江省嘉善县实验小学前身为程氏义塾,始建于1829年(清道光九年),后几经易名,于1990年11月正式命名为嘉善县实验小学,现有教学班36个。学生1742名。百年的文化积淀,使学校拥有先进的硬件设施与雄厚的师资力量。学校现有93名教师;其中,省特级教师1名,中学高级教师10名,市级名师、学科带头人5名,县级名师、学科带头人8名。学校占地面积23265平方米,建筑面积11696平方米,各类教育设施俱全,建有生态文明科技馆、图书馆、探究实验室、微格教室以及电子阅览室,为广大学生提供了温馨和谐、富有时代气息的学习环境。
