周尧 博士后培养导师和博士生导师,1936年毕业于江苏南通大学后,赴意大利那波里大学,进入世界昆虫分类学权威西尔维斯特利教授的昆虫博士研究生班深造。1938年学成归国后,任西北农学院教授至今。同时兼任陕西省动物研究所所长、全国政协委员、九三学社中央委员、圣马利诺共和国国际科学院院士、中国昆虫学会名誉理事、《昆虫分类学报》主编、中国科学技术史学会理事、西安世界语学会名誉会长、陕西省科委顾问等职。
