1 南水北调中线工程概况南水北调工程是当今世界规模最大的跨流域调水工程,是党中央、国务院立足全局,虑及长远的重大战略决策。我省既是中线工程的水源地,又是工程受益区。中线工程全长1267km,在我省境内长731km,受益地区涉及南阳、郑州等11个省辖市,32个县(市)。以2002年下半年物价指数计算,中线工程总投资984亿元,其中在河南静态投资达481亿元。按照南水北
1 South-to-North Water Diversion Project Overview The South-to-North Water Diversion Project is the largest inter-basin water transfer project in the world today. It is a major strategic decision that the Central Party Committee and the State Council take the overall situation into consideration in the long run. The province is not only the water source of the midline project, but also the project benefit area. The midline project is 1267km long and 731km long in our province. The beneficiary areas involve 11 provincial cities, including Nanyang and Zhengzhou, and 32 counties (cities). According to the price index in the second half of 2002, the total investment in the midline project was 98.4 billion yuan, of which the static investment in Henan reached 48.1 billion yuan.
