Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common clinical bowel disorders. In the past 3 years, we have used Acanthopanax senticosus combined with Ligustrum album to treat 73 cases of this disease with satisfactory curative effect. The report is summarized as follows. A total of 136 cases of clinical data, are in line with the 1986 National Chronic Diarrhea Symposium to determine the standard. Treatment group, 42 males and 31 females; aged 17 to 65 years, mean
