邱文生是中国著名牡丹画家,被已故刘海粟大师誉为“牡丹王”。邱文生,男,1936年生,久居洛阳,自幼酷爱绘画艺术,擅长花鸟,尤以牡丹画作为自己艺术追求的主题。90年以来,其作品先后在台北、珠海、南京、上海美术馆、北京军博举办个展。《中国画报》、《人民画报》、《解放军画报》、《文汇报》、《新华日报》等数十家报刊发表并介绍其作品。中央电视台、上海电视台(外语台)等为其制作了邱文生牡丹画专题片,并多次向国内外播放。出版有《邱文生牡丹画册》、《邱文生牡丹画集》,还发行了《邱文生牡丹画巡回展纪念封》一套。《东方红——毛主席纪念堂珍藏书画集》、《人民的好总理——周恩来纪
Qiu Wensheng is a famous peony painter in China, hailed as the “Peony King” by the late Master Liu Haisu. Qiu Wensheng, male, born in 1936, lived in Luoyang for a long time. He loved painting art very much. He was good at flowers and birds, especially the peony painting as the theme of his art pursuit. For 90 years, his works have solo exhibitions in Taipei, Zhuhai, Nanjing, Shanghai Art Museum and Beijing Military Bo. Dozens of newspapers and periodicals, including China Pictorial, People’s Pictorial, People’s Liberation Army Pictorial, Wen Wei Po and Xinhua Daily, published and introduced their works. CCTV and Shanghai TV Station (foreign language stations) produced Qiu Wensheng peony painting feature films and repeatedly played them at home and abroad.
