棉花在农业经济中占据重要地位,提高棉花的产量最显著的办法是杂种优势的利用。寻找、筛选合适的棉花雄性不育系,实行三系配套,是当下棉花杂种优势利用研究的重要途径。辐射处理诱变是产生雄性不育突变的最有效手段之一,具有遗传背景变化小,试验周期短等优势。本研究的目的是利用60Coγ射线辐射筛选陆地棉雄性不育突变株,为雄性不育系的选育提供基础。本研究利用的是本课题组现有的二十多种陆地棉材料,采用60Coγ射线
