Strict implementation　　of law and better management practices could achieve sustainable fisheries development. Both　　countries have many laws and regulations but implementation measure is lacking concern. To　　control the over exploitation of fishes. China and India has taken major footsteps by imposing　　fish ban, Closed seasons, by imposing trawler fishing ban. But still there is loophole in the legal　　system. The main aim of the study was to study the fisheries law and regulations of both of the　　countries.
