Introduction: Acupuncture is being progressively included in the practice of mainstream Medicine.According to a 1997 Consensus Statement regarding acupuncture,the National Institutes of Health concluded that “promising results have emerged,for example,efficacy of acupuncture in adult post-operative and chemotherapy nausea and vomiting”(1).
