This paper discusses the problem of two-dimensional(2D)direction of angle(DOA)for acoustic vector-sensor array,and proposes an estimation algorithm basing on propagator method(PM).Compared with signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT)algorithm,the computational complexity of the proposed algorithm is significantly smaller than ESPRIT algorithm,because it does not require any EVD of the cross correlation matrix and SVD of the received data.Using the same data model,the angle estimation performance of the proposed algorithm is close to that of ESPRIT algorithm.Furthermore,the proposed algorithm can achieve automatically paired two-dimensional angle estimation and be suitable for arbitrary array geometry,and imposes less constraint on the receive sensor location.The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
