Purpose Since the first-episode of psychosis is known to be a critical period,there has been an increased focus on the first-episode schizophrenia.The purpose of this study was to quantify and describe recent prescribing trends of antipsychotics use in patients with first-episode schizophrenia by comparing prescription pattems between the year 2005 and the year 2010.Especially in 2005,most of the commonly used 2nd generation antipsychotics were equipped in Korea,including aripiprazole granted approval for use in 2004.
