Recent advances in the application of the nonlinear energy sink under a sinusoidal excitation make it possible to investigate for metal-rubber vibration absorber.With the aim to provide the dynamical mechanisms for the vibration absorber of the integrated instrument installation plate of a spacecraft, we have analyze the targeted energy transfer of simplified model with nonlinear energy sink by the complex-variables averaging method.
